AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

I have been restoring a 2002 Toyota tundra for the last 18 months. My rear end was failing after being rebuilt and the team at AAMCO Got me back on the road. The problems were complex and complicated, but they stayed committed to resolving the problem. Professional m, courteous, and knowledgeable. Thanks again.

The trans in my 96 chevy p/u took a poop. Got it over to Jon. They got my truck back to me in a very timely fashion. Needed a very small adjustment after the fact & they took care of it the same day. Good job !

I highly recommend AAMCO in Charlotte. They were exceptionally communicative, provided a quick turnaround in repairing our steering issue, and were upfront and honest throughout the process. I appreciated their transparency when they couldn’t diagnose a separate suspected issue, clearly explaining what to monitor and when to bring the vehicle back in. No runaround—just straightforward, reliable service.

I called Tech automotive at about 10 am asking if they could do a AC compressor job for me. I was told to bring it in Friday. I was called back and was told that they could get me in right away wass there by 1130 out by 2.He walked me through what he felt like the issue was and gave me different options of possible realities come to find out it wasn't the compressor at all. They are reasonably priced beyond fair especially in this area and do good work. I may have found my mechanic shop for the city!

This was my first time using AAMCO TRANSMISSION service. I needed a new, used or rebuild transmission for my 2013 Dodge Caravan. My son is in a wheelchair and this van is my only source of transportation for us to get around. My son loves to be sociable. They were able to rebuild the existing transmission and I had my van back in 2 or 3 days with a 1 year warranty. When I spoke with John on every call he was polite, professional and caring. Thanks to the whole team for getting us back to church on Sundays.
