Lay of the Land

Right off the bat when I walk in and explain what my small engine needs/repair, Im asked "did you buy that off Amazon?!" REALLY? You insult the customer right off the batt the suggest FULL RETAIL part to repair your tool. The will never get my business with that attitude. Especially being "4 to 5 weeks behind"👎

This place is amazing! The stag is very friendly and they do amazing work. All employees know exactly what they’re doing and it’s refreshing to see! All in all amazing place to get get all your yard equipment fixed or bought.

I purchased a tiller from this store 1 week ago. The tiller had been assembled by the store but never used. I brought it home that day. When we tried to start it the next day it would not start after repeated attempts. We brought it back to the store for a refund/replacement. Thats when we had the problem. The employee in the store was quite rude and confrontational. When I explained the issue with the machine she simply told me that the tillers were sometime tricky to start. She tried to start it several times, just as we had, and do not start. I told her I would like a refund. I was told NO REFUNDS. I then asked for a replacement with a new machine. I was informed that they did not have a …

They don’t seem like good people to deal with for anything. They don’t know how to communicate with the public. Walked in and it’s like they didn’t even care for my business. Management needs to do something about it especially with having a Prime location like they do. Hopefully management is not careless like the employees. Maybe management can tell the employees it’s ok to smile once in a while and not have such a stubborn look on their faces. Esp the guy with the mustache

Recently, I had the need for a new weed eater and wanted a configuration that would allow me to attach a brush cutter as well. Calling around to the various implement businesses, I had the good fortune of speaking to a Mrs. Carol at Lay of the Land on Monroe rd. Even though it was close to closing time whenever I called, she took the time to listen and check the availability of the particular products that I wanted to purchase from the store. Whenever I arrived in person a few days later to purchase said items, I first met Mike, who also works in the store.
