Primal 4X4 & Performance

Jim and his crew have outstanding skills. In the past, he rebuilt a transmission on my Ford Explorer. In addition, he has done several minor repairs over almost 10 years. Recently he performed a tuneup and replaced a wiper motor on my 2013 Hyundai Genesis. I know he was 25-30% less expensive than a dealer would have been. Again, the work was performed with precision and skill. I won’t take my car anywhere else.

Outstanding service at Primal 4x4! From start to finish, they kept me apprised of the progress and I could not be happier with the end result. Amazing suggestions on parts, colors, paint and they fabricated some excellent modifications to accommodate additional lights and fender modifications I requested! Still have a front bumper and winch and accent lighting to go, but loving my TJ (and Gladiator JT)!

Primal 4x4 is top notch, I had a bad experience at another local so called 4x4 shop in Charlotte, which was awful. I found Primal and everything else was history! Ya need to go see Jimbo. He went above and beyond on my build. With Currie Extreme 60s, riding on 40s with a full EVO long arm build. He's top notch, and not only did he do an amazing build on my JT but I had him install an AMW 505 package in my daughters JT with all the goodies. Ya need to go see Jim and let him build your dream! Took my stock JT rubicon here to get not just what I thought I wanted, but also advice from the knowledge of the guys here and I couldn’t be happier. We went with Rock Krawler Suspension 3.5" X-Factor lift featuring 8 new control arms. The 17" Fuel Off-Road Covert wheels and Mickey Thompson Tires 37" Baja Boss tires. The FOX reservoir shocks upgrade feels like this thing is dialed in and the tazer has everything working perfectly. It’s been several months and everything tracks straight as an arrow, no wobble, no issues with abnormal tire wear, and zero issues. They also did my 4.88 gears and everything has been spot on.
